No worries, I just found it and put it in my tactical bag so I wouldn't forget it. If it fits, its yours. Sadly I don't know if any of us are going to get to sling BB's this weekend. 70% chance of rain on Saturday for Austin and 30% chance in Harwood

I think you may be in luck on the mag. I just looked up my old Cyma on Airsoftgi and it takes the G&G/TM type mag.

Doh Cyma is TM. G&G is unique to that and CA.

Yah, did some poking around, it is a TM clone. Sorry. The description is slightly different from the faux wood to the black one which is what confused me on what type of magazine it was. Oh well, if someone needs a TM compatable M14 mag, I have one. I love the look and feel of the M14. (I actually had to lug a real one around for 9 weeks at Ranger school back in the ancient past). The Cyma M14 was a problem gun for me that never really worked right. I eventually took it to Shak and he told me it wasn't worth fixing which is why I now have a mag with no gun attached to it.

Let me know how that one works for you. I could easily talk myself into buying another M14 although I wouldn't run it as a DMR or sniper rifle.

Reap out of the box my M14 was a lemon, but with a lot of TLC it might be my favorite gun. They ran the wiring backwards on it and caused my motor to spin the wrong way took a lot of work to figure out wtf was happening.

Yah, Hilt absolutely HATED working on my Cyma M14 and Shakman basically pronounced it dead once he pulled it apart. Probably won't go there since I am all thumbs if I have to work on somthing that isn't built around a microprocessor. It is a sweet-looking gun though, I guess I'll just drool on Sly's

I know what you guys mean. I've spent many nights pulling apart the M14 (version 7?) gearbox to my 1st gen AGM M14. $200 later it was working okay and then the tappet plate snapped.

I've since abandoned the project and sold the whole lot for $80.


Purpose of my story? I can tear down, grease, and shim a version 7 gearbox in about an hour now. haha
THERE WILL BE NO BROMANCE IN MY WORKSHOP~!!!
